Books for Job Hunters

Good Books for Job Hunters

Where do I start? A great place is at the library or bookstore - a bit low tech in today's age of online resources and tools but still a fantastic place to get your feet wet.

Here is one job-hunting classic to get you started:

What Color is Your Parachute: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters & Career-Changers, by Richard Nelson Bolles (Ten Speed).

What Color is Your Parachute is the best selling job-hunting book ever. It offers tried and true career advice, is updated every year, and would be worth keeping in your personal reference library. Truly a classic.

Of course there are a plethora of good job search books out there, but this is a good starting place and worth the money.
